Every version of your app is kept. If a change makes things worse, pick the moment you liked and restore it — one click, no jargon, nothing overwritten. Nothing is ever deleted to make room for something new.

A true story

Someone asked for "a tab search". They got a tab switcher.

Through conversation alone it became an overlay on ⌥⇧1: start typing and every open tab filters down, most recently used first, Enter switches. It works over any page.

Halfway through, the app needed abilities Snappware didn't have yet — switching tabs, knowing which ones you'd used lately. Those were added, and the app absorbed them. The product grew to meet the app.

Someone asked Snappware for "a tab search". It became a Spotlight-style overlay on ⌥⇧1: type to filter every open tab, most recently used first, Enter to switch. It works over any page.
It needed powers the platform didn't have — switching tabs, knowing recency. Those were added, and the app absorbed them. That's how the shelf grows.

Apps are seeds, not deliverables

A Snappware app starts small on purpose. It grows in the direction you push it, and when it needs a power the platform lacks, the platform grows too.

Nothing is overwritten

Storage is append-only, so a rebuild adds a version instead of replacing one. Restoring is choosing an earlier moment, in the app's own words — never a repository, never a merge. No data loss by construction.
